What is the FMHI IT Associate Program?
Due to security concerns, machines at FMHI are typically locked down such that many routine software installation and support functions are impossible to conduct by the average end user. In order to provide some regional independence, but with accountability, FMHI has instituted an FMHI Associates Program.
Some members of the program are able to install software and perform other minor support operations in their specific department or area of concern, whereas most end users would not. Other members merely have informational access in order to faciliate the processing of PC equipment in their respective areas. Members of the program are obligated to attend regular FMHI IT Associate Meetings and abide by other regulations implemented to maintain data security at the institute.
