Some departments prefer that you contact a support associate working in your area before contacting FMHI IT directly. IT Associates frequently provide faster service and will decide when to notify FMHI IT on your behalf.

For security reasons, FMHI computers are locked down such fromsoftware installation and management support functions for most users. IT Technical Associates provide departmental support for these functions.
Technical Associates are able to install software and perform other minor support operations in their specific department. They are required to follow FMHI IT policies and procedures. They are specifically required to abide by the
FMHI Security Policy, implemented to maintain data security at the institute. Associates are requested to attend FMHI IT Associate Meetings, when needed. Interested parties should contact Dennis Guillette, FMHI Security Coordinator.
